No, no...not the leg lamp from "The Christmas Story," these lamps are even sexier! They're made out of repurposed legs of vintage and antique porcelain pedestal sinks. Local (to me) shop owner Heidi of Unearthed makes these lamps by hand with the help of her handy husband in Madison, Wisconsin. They retail for $190.00. Heidi's shop houses a more urban, modern and slightly masculine take on items from a bygone era. Good news, Unearthed also sells their wares online for out-of-towners. Here's a little collection of my other "hearts" from her shop that I'm sure Ralphie's mom would be elated about.
From top left to bottom right:
2) Antique mahogany dental cabinet, $875
3) World War II Swiss Army Blankets, $150 each
5) Bowling pinedeck table $1290

The repurposed dental cabinet would be great as a flat file for a burgeoning works-on-paper collection, no?
When I first saw the title, I thought you meant the "leg" lamp from the Christmas Story! ;-) I was curious how you were going to style it. I like this one much better! I love the Bowling pinedeck table. I think my husband would go for that one too.
Lydia (cluelesscrafter) It looks like it, doesn't it. It's actually only about 6 inches deep. Lori-yeah, not sure how I could style that one up pretty..the bowling table is even better in person, it's "merchandised" with little vintage bowling pins..so neato.
